The Hydro-Action AP-500 Aerobic Treatment Unit (ATU) is the breadwinner of our wastewater management system. Before wastewater enters the ATU, it runs through a pretreatment or septic tank. Pretreatment is crucial in reducing the amount of solids and other materials that can get into the system. The system’s flexibility allows the ATU to be added to an existing septic tank or used with the Hydro-Action system alone.

Unfortunately, if your aerator is showing signs of red dust built up on the inside, this means that your coils are rusting and you will need to purchase a replacement air pump.
