The small size and low power consumption produce very little heat, allowing the HP40-017A septic air pumps to have long service periods; up to 8 years. The Hiblow HP-40-017A will work for some 500 gpd aerobic septic systems.
The Hiblow HP-40A is very similar to the Hiblow HP-40. The major difference between the two models is that the HP-40A has an alarm built into the body of the compressor and the HP-40 has a tap for an external alarm sensor. The HP-40A can be used in some 500 GPD aerobic septic system. Koi ponds and ponds that are up to 16,000 gallons with a maximum depth between 6 and 8 feet can be aerated with this product.

My Hiblow as a alarm attached to it . Can I attach the alarm to this pump?
It is possible but is not easy to do as the power for the pump is coming from the alarm and you would have to do some soldering.
