  • Thomas aerators also sport a variety of features found amongst the highest quality linear diaphragm aerators. Some of those features include oil-less operation and an integrated protective switch. Additionally, these aerators provide quiet, smooth, and efficient operation.

It is critical that your septic aerator is of a high quality and reliable, because aeration is a crucial step in an aerobic septic system. The oxygen that is introduced by the aerator supports favorable bacteria, but those bacteria will quickly die without oxygen. Thus, reliable operation is crucial to the health of the bacteria in an aerobic septic system.

Wholesale Septic supply also offer spare parts for these aerators. If a malfunction occurs, it is not always necessary to replace the entire aerator. Rebuild kits include the most commonly replaced components.

There are a few things that a home owner can do to ensure they get the most out of their aerator. Cleaning or replacing the diffusers within the septic system regularly will keep the pores on the diffuser clear of debris. That will make it easier for the aerator to inject air into the tank. Furthermore, it is recommended to clean the air filter every 3 months and replaced every 12 months.

  • I need a air pump but I noticed all come with a plug in. Is it ok to slice the plug off and wire it directly?

Yes all our air pumps come with a 120V compatible plug, cutting the plug off and splicing the wires in directly wont void your air pump's warranty.
