Hello I was wondering if this product 15' Float Switch WOP Mechanical 115V if it has a double wire for install? Everything I’ve seen has a plug not just a neutral and ground. Thank you
Some of our floats do ship with what's called "piggy-back" plug at the end of their cords, but all switches have only 2 wires (both are considered "hot"wires as the hot leg of your pump power is routed thru them).
- The plug at the end allows you to simply plug a compatible pump into any power outlet, then the motor will only receive power once the float switch is engaged. If you cut off the plug at the end of the cord, you'll see it has only 2 wires going down to the switch (one going down, and one coming up).
This 15ft pump-duty float here has no such plug on the end of the cord, and it comes with a 5-year warranty.
