Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • Can this be installed outdoors in the elements

Yes it's outdoor rated, though we still highly recommend using a Aerator Housing to keep the motor up off the ground, (away from ground water and ants) and cooler in summertime. Its not submersible by any means so a small degree of protection goes a long way toward overall lifespan. We've also seen ants bury these little pumps over time, slowly smothering them. So to an extent, yes it's fine out there, but it is best to give it some kind of protection.
